Living in Potters Bar

We’re extremely lucky to be based in a town surrounded by stunning green belt Hertfordshire countryside and ancient woodland with an abundance of paths to walk or cycle.

Local supermarkets have a good selection of Kosher food. There is an excellent leisure centre complete with swimming pool and lots of sporting opportunities.  local clubs cover many other interests.

A modern theatre/cinema complex offers a wide variety of entertainment.

There are Several excellent schools operate in the area.

Many people coming into the area say that the quality of life is noticeably more agreeable than inside the M25. The town has most of the amenities that you would want on a day to day basis with extra services “20 minutes away”.

Kosher shops, restaurants and takeaways are a short drive away.

The main shopping areas have many local shops offering quality services where “Can I help you”  means what it says. Hard to get used to coming from a City environment.

Potters Bar has excellent road and rail links. It is brilliantly situated close to J23 of the M25 & near the A1.  Kings Cross is a fast 20 minutes away and Cambridge is 1 hour away.  Great for a day trip!

The nearby commuter town of Cuffley has a rail service that  gets you to Moorgate in 44 minutes.

For the Underground, the Piccadilly Line is at nearby Cockfosters & the Northern line at nearby High Barnet. Both short journeys by car.
Heathrow, Luton & Stansted airports are all about 40 minutes away. In addition there are many places of interest to visit that are a short distance from the town.
